I'm Kate Lynch (she/her): parent of an amazing atypical kid, inclusive yoga teacher, mindful parenting mentor, and author. I can’t wait to walk this path alongside you, sharing the tools that have helped me feel calmer.
I’m passionate about helping parents like me feel more connected, calm, and present, because that’s how we will raise the next generation to be more inclusive.

WHO: This course is for overwhelmed parents of atypical kids who are looking for strategies, support and understanding, AND are ready to look inward as the key to breaking the cycle of stress.
WHAT: At its core, this course delivers a daily 5-minute mindfulness practice through video or audio. There is bonus content for more learning, PDFs to print, and I'm personally available to answer your questions.
WHY: A regular self-regulation practice will build neural pathways you can rely on during a crisis. Then, your kid can rely on YOU to help them co-regulate. Over time, simply pausing mindfully can shift all your relationships and break generational cycles.
WHERE: Online from anywhere. I'll send you a daily email with encouragement, accountability and links. You can also go directly to the course in your browser or app.
HOW: There are several options to access the content. You decide whether to watch the video or listen to the audio. You can be done in 5 minutes a day and the practices are accessible. Bonus content is available if you have the time to go deeper.
WHEN: On your schedule. Put it in your calendar. If you don't have 5 minutes, you can listen as you do other tasks. You can always come back to the practices again. I think you’ll look forward to those 5 minutes every day!
By the end of this challenge you will have a toolkit of self-regulation skills to support you in being calm and present with your kids.
